Coping With Adverse Situations In Life - Being Happy Despite Adversity

Everyone wants maximum happiness and peace throughout their life. Whenever everything is going well we feel magnanimous, energetic and motivated, and other people around us can sense confidence, drive and wellbeing in our personality. Of course, this is a natural human characteristic. But, when we are faced with afflictions and predicaments we should not think it's impossible to be happy or propelled.

It's every human being's desire to have favourable conditions in our life such as good health, financial stability, loving family and friends, and a honourable social reputation. However, our power to atttain and maintain a perfectly sweet life is limited, and adversities can occur at any time and in turn negatively affect any aspect of our lives. Even though we may work hard to ensure everything goes well with the way we live this doesn't completely protect us from having our plan defeated and seeing troubles enter our life.

So how do we cope when unwelcomed adversities say hello?

When I was a child I always dreamed of having a well balanced life with everything necessary to make a person happy. However, everything did not work out as I wanted. In fact, I have to deal with the contrary of many of the things I desired. I may have made some errors along the way but most of my misfortunes are not really my fault. I guess as much lots of people can relate to that situation, whereby things keep happening at your displeasure when you didn't do anything to cause it. For example, you may have lost your job and it's not because you're not competent, or a bad employee, but it's as a result of the economic situation. Also, you may have a health problem or some sort of physical defect that you suddenly got affected with and you always tried your best to avoid anything that was detrimental to your health or body. As frustrating as it may be, it's a fact that life in this world does not adhere to fairness.

At first I was given to grieving and complaining within myself about how unfair life is. However, after awhile I realized that allowing myself to be stressed and constantly feel discontented was, not only destructive, but also keeping me back from attaining success in the future. At this point I was asking  myself why is it so hard for people to feel happy and motivated when we're faced with problems, knowing that adversities is inevitable to us once we are alive? Does that mean then the value of our life and having purpose in this world is based on luck or chance of being free from troubles? Are we allowed to enjoy a happy life only when everything is going well? Isn't happiness the fuel that drives us to live, then why are we allowing ourselves to be deprived of joy for any long period of time while we live?

It made sense to conclude then that the true essence of human value and purpose does not rest in the material world because the material world as we can see it has a universal potentiality for problems and misfortunes. If there are so many sickness and diseases to impair our health, how then can we depend on having a perfectly healthy body to be happy? If money is so hard to gain and so easy to lose, why then can't we be happy without it? If we can't control the judgment and actions of others, why are we waiting for happy relationships to feel joyful? Thereby, it's clear that the primary source of happiness and wellbeing is not anything we can gain or accomplish from the world, it has to be something that is inbred and predestined for us to connect with once we're born no matter the state of our life.

Surely, I'm not saying that people should not be working hard to gain wealth, perfect health and good relationships. What I'm saying is we should not make these attainments our primary source of happiness. If we possess those attributes they should just improve our convenience and boost our wellbeing but not determine our level of happiness. If we rely completely on good fortune in the material world including perfect health and good relationships to be happy it's fair to say that we'll never be happy if we lose that fortune or if that fortune is never attained.

The most genuine source of human happiness cannot exists as part of this imperfect material world. The source must be separated or else it can never be reliable. That source must also not be an illusion or make-up belief. We must be able to truthfully connect our hearts to that source at any time and claim our rightful happiness that every human being was born to receive regardless of their situation or placement. Poor, rich, blind, crippled or unhealthy no matter your circumstances your true happiness comes from that source and it is universally accessible without a price. That source is not affected by time, power, wealth, disaster or anything else in existence because that source is in control of existence itself. That source is the only thing in existence you can die with and it'll be relevant to you after your death. That source is God.

I am not an extremely religious person but I've been through enough to convince me that God as the bible describes him truly exist and our main purpose as human beings is to connect with him and be subjected to his will. He has control over the past, the present and the future and he allow things to happen as he wants it. Therefore, while we should be as productive and contributive to this world as much as we can our true purpose for existing is to connect with God daily and this should be our main source of joy and happiness. Material possession and worldly fortune should be secondary sources of our felicity, and our confidence and delightfulness should not obliterate in the event that we meet misfortunes. So whenever you're faced with adversities of any kind always remember that God knows about it, and all you have to do to regain your rightful happiness is simply connect to him through prayer, meditation, bible reading and faith.

What To Expect

I strongly believe that one of our main duties as human beings living in this world is to support and empower each other in any way that we can. Not only our family and friends should benefit from our existence but we should contribute goodness to the lives of strangers as well. Of course, we cannot be a source of help to everyone we meet in every situation because every individual possess different abilities and resources. However, I believe that we should provide help or give freely as much as we can whenever the opportunity arise.

For this reason you can expect loads of helpful information being provided on this blog. Top 5 Reasons To Get Into Blogging

Is there a better topic to begin a blog with than 'the top benefits of blogging'? Maybe yes, but I chose to go with this one.

There are a cluster of blogs on the web that are based on a vast variety of subject matters and administered by different people from every part of the world. People get into blogging for different reasons but there are a number of great benefits that individuals can gain from a blogging experience that even some bloggers may not realize. Here are my top 5 benefits I believe people can gain from being involved in effective and frequent blogging.

1. Self Expression

Blogging is a great way to express your thoughts and feelings freely and enjoy the comfort that comes along with that. We may not be able to express ourselves to people in the physical world all the time because we may not possess the motivation to speak out some of our thoughts orally, have reliable people to express ourselves to or the people in our lives may straight out not be interested in hearing certain things we have to say. It can be quit uncomfortable and frustrating for any human being to have thoughts and feelings stored up and for one reason or another restricted from letting it out. Fortunately, the internet comprise of millions of users that are interested in obtaining information in all different niches and subject matters. Hence, it's very likely that you'll get people who're interested in reading your posts regardless of what you're writing about. Besides, just typing down your thoughts and emotions can make you feel better even if no one reads it.

2. Improvement In Writing Skills

If you believe that you're not an impressive writer this is a good reason to get into blogging and not the contrary. True, people who are skilful writers may feel more motivated and confident about blogging, but persons who struggle to write a proper sentence or not very good in spelling and grammar should not stay away from the blogging platform neither. Once you start blogging, consistently writing and learning as you go along is sure to cause improvement in your writing skills overtime.

3. Allow People To Learn From You

Even though the internet is an information highway with thousands of websites containing data about the same subject matters and topics, this doesn't mean that each individual with a small blog can't be a valuable contributor to the abundant supply of information on the web. We are all unique with different experience and individual knowledge so there'll always be stuffs people can learn from each person that doesn't exists anywhere else.

4. Establish An Online Presence And Build Relationships

A blog is a tremendous medium to make your mark online and present yourself to the world. People who read post on your blog may connect with you to get more of what you have to offer. You may make friends from all over the world and build ongoing interactive relationships with your online contacts. A blog will complement your presence on social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Google Plus because you can direct your contacts to your spot online where you write about things you you're interested in.

5. Earn Money

Last but not list, once you gain a substantial number of daily visitors to your blog you can earn money from it. You can monetize your blog with pay per click advertising such as google adsense. How this works is you place ads on your site and any time a visitor to your blog clicks on them you earn a certain of amount of money for each click.
